The AP 500 S is a 36 V Battery, it has the largest capacity of the STIHL AP Batteries at 337 Wh, allowing professionals to tackle larger jobs with more power and longer run times.

Built with STIHL exclusive power laminate cell technology, giving users up to a 2,500 cycle life. The AP 500 S features 40% more power output and 20% more capacity than the AP 300 S. Weighing only 2 kg, it also has the best power-to-weight ratio in the STIHL AP System.

The AP 500 S runs at full speed until the Battery is depleted there is no gradual reduction in power. It also has sensors that shut down the machine if the Battery becomes too hot. Compatible with any STIHL Charger.

Charge time with AL 101 Standard Charger: 355 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 280 minutes

Charge time with AL 301 Fast Charger: 90 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 70 minutes

Charge time with AL 500 Super Fast Charger: 55 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 40 minutes
